guess what?!

i got my enlistment letter yesterday. yep. im finally going to be a full-time ns-man soon.

am i excited? yea. abit, i think.
am i scared? yea. abit, i think.
am i panicking? yea. abit, i think.

i dont know. i dont really feel anything at the moment. maybe not yet. maybe when the time comes, i'll be panicking like hell. keyis told me to start running and stuff, just to get myself prepared. yea, maybe after i get well.

michael told me he received the enlistment letter too. hes going the day after me. we're going to the same camp. hahk! fate, i guess? will i be able to see him? will he laugh when he sees me suffering? will i laugh when i see him suffering? will WE laugh when WE see each other suffering? haha! i dont know. we'll just have to wait and see.

actually, to tell you the truth, im quite glad that it came early. so i can end early and find a proper job and all. or maybe i might take that counselling degree that i've been eyeing (but no support given from my family).

well, dont ask where im going or when im going in. im not gonna say. maybe i'll say one week or one day before. reason for that? i dont want people to count down and all. it can be quite nerve-wrecking. i hope i'll be fine in there. :S

so people, better plan outings for me. it might be the last time you may see my hair and the fair-skinned shukri.

oh im back. and front. and center. and side. ok lame. well it has been about ermm.. a kazillion schamillion years since i last updated? the reason for that? simple. im lazy. yep. L-A-Z-Y. pure, first-grade, high-class, plain lazy. so i gotta shake that laziness out of me and..UPDATE! weee~

so many things has happened. i started work. now one month and one week. my graduation party was damn boring. boring as crap. and! i finally graduated with a Diploma in Business Computing from RP. yeeharrr~ but im not sure that im gona use that diploma though. hmm.

work is slowly becoming fun. im getting used to the things there. getting used, but not used to it yet. there's a difference.

work really exhausts me. but, i gotta be strong. i mean, i have role models. take peili for example. she's working about two or three different jobs while schooling last time. just to support herself. and personally, i respect her for that.

speaking of my poly mates, gosh i miss them so much. it has been eons schme-ons since i last saw them. and i miss them to bits. girls, outing soon k?

heck. i havent been updating for ages and i have no frigging clue what to write about. shucks.

i have pictures of my graduation ceremony. and even a video that my dad took while i accepted my diploma on stage. haha! i'll post it up soon k? thats all for now.

the theme song for sheng siong supermarket. hahk! the folks, my sis and me went makan-ning at west coast just now. i had my usual mee goreng. then i had a craving for char-kuey with sotong. then after that, another craving for spring chicken. got them all. yummy. i think i may be pregnant. hmm.

went to taman jurong's sheng siong just now. oh i didnt know it could be so exciting. so come on ladies and gents. i want to share my excitement with you.

ok here i am. back again. after eons of not updating. ooo so many interesting happened while i was "away." i officially can transform my life into a soap drama.

i realised that people enjoy seeing pictures more than they enjoy reading about the blogger. so, i decided that i 20% of my entry will be in writings and the remaining will be pictures. ^-^

been ~~busy~~ lazy lately.

oh my laptop charger failed on me. in order to revive it back (in simpler words, buy a new one), i have to fork out $160! yes! a hundred and sixty smackeroons! can you believe it? no? neither can i. gosh. but lucky for me, i got a universal bulky laptop charger for only $43. fuuh~

tuesday's Management Information Systems lesson was super duper fun, i tell ya. got free pizza from facilitator(THANKS MR GOH!). took a million and five pictures.

i just don't get something. why is it that i get close to the class when it's the last lesson for that module? all of a sudden, i don't want the class to end. i don't want all of them to go home. i want to continue taking pictures and eating pizza with them.

monday (12th Feb 2007) is going to be my last day of school. will have Photography and Digital Imaging. with a "Fashion shoot" as a theme. looking forward to the module.

time indeed flies when one is having fun. as much as i hate, dislike, loathe, abhor, detest school, i have to admit that a little part of me is going to miss it. and i'm proud to say that. i am proud to say that i, muhammad shukri, will miss school. RP.

what will the future hold for us? what path will we take? are we going to do what we enjoy doing or do for the sake of doing? are we going to be successful? are we going to be happy? so many questions that have no answers. ok, i know i'm being naggy and all but the future worries me. ALOT.

i personally hate thinking of the future. i just want it to happen without me planning. but slowly, i realised that i can't not think of the future. i have to plan it all out. my friends had done it. all of them with different dreams.

marni wants to take up a degree in either business or arts/media. khatijah wants to take up a degree in psychology or be a teacher. nora wants to take up a degree in either psychology, law or journalism. rai wants to take up a degree in science or teaching.

as for me, i was thinking of taking up a degree in counselling. but my parents say that they don't exactly have the money. and they told me to "correct" myself first before being a counsellor; whatever that means. it's ok, my dear folks. i will work hard and save up some money and TRY to pay for my school fees on my own. be independent for once, shuk.

reading murni's entry made me wonder something. made me miss the people that used to surround me. and no, i don't have a lot of friends. i just have a handful. just nice for a typical guy.

ok so it has been eons since i last crapped.
let's see what i have been up to this past week.

on sunday. 21 jan 2007.
went to NUH with khai.
reached NUH at about 12am.
then waited until 2 plus for him to get called by the doc.
then waited until about 5 for him to get out.
the doctor let him sleep for 2 hours inside, while making me wait.
despicable!
but oh well, i'm happy that khai is ok.
he was just suffering from abdominal pain.

on monday. 22 jan 2007.
reached home at 7am and slept till about 10.
met andrew at 12 to finish our fyp.
realised that there's alot of things that have not been done yet.
i skipped my photography test because i was too tired.
submitted my fyp at 3pm and went home to sleep.

on wednesday. 24 jan 2007.
FYP PRESENTATION!
went ok, i guess.
i wasn't that satisfied, but let's just wait and see ok?
and after that, went home and sleep.
temperature 38.3 degrees.
had really dry cough and mucous-filled nose.

it's the first time i jogged without stopping or walking.

so when we were sitting under the sun, it began raining heavily.

my precious laptop just got admitted to the hospital.

oh goodness gracious me.
it's been eons since i blogged.
lots of things has happened since i last blogged.
rda, filming, etc etc.

and yes, RDA (rotaract district assembly) is finally over.
no more RDA meetings on tuesdays!
no more calling of club presidents asking them to pay!
no more doing of budget for RDA!

filming for FYP (final year project) is also done.
now my fyp is left with reports, editing of video and website.
hurry! one week left, shukri!

while the World Cup has gotten everybody in a frenzy, a piece of news has got me excited.
excited, in a bad way..

i was browsing thru today's New Paper.
and i was shocked! surprised! OUTRAGED!
chehbah..

well, anyway the news was about the September 11 attacks.
since i am an extremely lazy person, let me summarize the story in one line:
THE SEPTEMBER 11 ATTACKS WERE FAKE!

here are the ALLEGATIONS, according to The Loose Change Video:
** the US government had a top-secret war plan as far back as 1962 to use commercial planes as weapons.

** it was claimed that it was a US cruise missile, not a plane, that rammed into the Pentagon building.
scientifically, it argues, the lack of body parts, debris, skid marks and structural damage to the building indicates it wasnt a plane that hit the Pentagon.

** how could it be, that the nearly indestructible black boxes, which would have proven what happened, were never found?

** it was claimed that the collapse of the twin towers were triggered by coordinated explosions from bombs hidden on different floors.
says who? well, eyewitnesses inside the buildings apparently saw multiple "secondary explosions" before the towers flattened themselves.

** United Airlines flight 93, which officially crashed into a rural field in Pennsylvania while supposedly headed for the White House, never crashed -- much less feature a heroic group of passengers who overpowered their captives. instead, all on board were evacuated safely, and the plane may still be in use today. YIKES!

** Osama bin Laden's so-called admission that he had engineered the 9/11 attacks was fake. the December 2001 video clip supposedly featuring Osama actually shows a bearded man who looks nothing like the real terrorist.

** also bogus is the "official" list of 19 hijackers released by the Bush administration. the men were never on the planes. sightings show at least nine are alive and living in the Middle East.

ok and there are many more.. please do not take anything at face value. believe what you want to. and all of these information are on today's (2 July 2006) New Paper.

i can't believe i updated my blog for the third time today.
never have this happened before. hmm.
must mark this day. 17th May 2006.

you know what?
you don't see the people who care most about you until you are on the verge of death.
haha.

well, it happened on a tuesday night.
we were still at school, having the RDA (Rotaract District Assembly) Meeting.
all of a sudden, i have this excruciating pain in my stomach.
it felt like i haven't peed in 10 days and an elephant standing on it. hmm.
so khatijah asked me to pee. (keke)
when i did, the pain was still there.
more excruciating than before.

so after the meeting, i began sweating like nobody's business.
i know that when i sweat profusely all of a sudden, something is wrong.
i felt like fainting. i just wanted someone to carry me home. haha.

my face was pale (according to amy).
and all of them kept on asking me to take a cab home.
nora and ktj even tried hailing cabs for me.
and and and ktj even wanted to carry my 10kg bag. gosh.
and when i got back, ah wun and marni msged me asking me how i was.

then i told my mom about my stomach.
she nagged, but when to the kitchen to prepare something for me to eat.

at that moment of time, i felt lucky.
all this time i didn't realise how great they are.
how wonderful they had been.
love you guys alot!!!!
and especially to my mom. muacks².
